Welcome to Tagamoa (“we”, “our”, or “the platform”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services for searching and listing rental properties in Egypt. By accessing or using Tagamoa, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
By using Tagamoa, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt or your country of residence. You must provide accurate information when registering and using the platform. Use of the service from jurisdictions where it is illegal or restricted is prohibited.
2. Description of Service
Tagamoa is an online platform that connects property owners (or their authorised representatives) with tenants and searchers in Egypt. We facilitate discovery and direct contact only; we do not act as real estate agents, brokers, or intermediaries in any lease or payment. We do not guarantee the completion of any transaction, the accuracy of listings, or the conduct of users. All rental agreements and payments are solely between the listing party and the searcher.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the platform or other users. One person or legal entity may not maintain multiple accounts for abusive or deceptive purposes.
4. Listings & Owner Obligations
Listings must be accurate, truthful, and not misleading. You must have the right to offer the property for rent (as owner or authorised agent) and must not duplicate listings for the same property. Photos and descriptions must reflect the actual property. Tagamoa reserves the right to remove, reject, or edit any listing that violates our Listing Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, or these Terms, and to take action against the account.
5. Fees, Payments & Pro Services
Basic search and listing features are offered as described on the platform. Paid services (e.g. Pro plans, featured listings, or promotions) are subject to the pricing and payment terms displayed at the time of purchase. Fees are in the currency indicated (e.g. EGP or USD). Refunds are governed by our Refunds Policy. We do not charge commission on rent or on deals made between users.
6. Conduct & Communications
You must use the platform lawfully and in good faith. You may not harass, defame, or discriminate against other users; post false or fraudulent content; or use the service for spam or unsolicited commercial messages. Communications between users (including via WhatsApp or other channels reached through Tagamoa) are the responsibility of those users. We may monitor or investigate conduct that we believe violates these terms or harms the community.
7. Disputes Between Users; No Agency
Tagamoa is not a party to any rental or other agreement between users. Disputes regarding payments, deposits, condition of the property, or breach of contract must be resolved directly between the parties. We are not responsible for enforcing agreements or for any loss arising from user conduct. Where permitted by law, you release Tagamoa and its affiliates from any claims related to such disputes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tagamoa and its affiliates, directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profit, data, or goodwill) arising from your use or inability to use the platform, any listing, or any transaction. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred EGP, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
9. Termination; Governing Law
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these terms or for any other reason. You may close your account via account settings or by contacting us. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including liability limits, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive termination. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
10. Changes & Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised terms on the platform and updating the “Last updated” date; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
